Computer monitor


Computer monitor is in charge of computer hardware display showing the output of the video graphics controller (video card) Monitor itself does not produce an image independently to ditampilkan.Gambar these images electronically created by the best video card installed in your computer system unit .Monitor resolution refers to the size of the image can be displayed on the monitor screen and is measured in pixels, and a pixel is a dot on your monitor screen. The higher the resolution, the sharper output. A good picture lets you display the smaller elements on the screen. Resolution is expressed in number of pixels in both horizontal and vertical directions such as 800, X 600, 1024 × 768, etc.Every brand, type and size of the monitors have different resolutions. This resolution determines the sharpness of images that appear on the monitor. As for the type-species, the monitor is divided into several types including: 
1. Kathoda ray tube monitors
 This is a tube monitor performance of data processing computer that is widely used in computer screens, video monitors, televisions, and oskiloskop. Monitor type was invented by
Karl Ferdinand Braund, and was developed by the work of Philo Farnsworth. This screen is widely used by aircraft to the television until the late 20's and is the basis for the development of plasma screens, LCD and other TV technologies.

2. LCD Monitor

 LCD monitor is a visual media type that uses liquid crystal as the main viewer. LCD screens are used in various electronic devices, such as televisions, calculators, mobile and computer screen. LCD screen now has dominated the use of screens on notebook and desktop computers, because it has the advantage that require low power, thin shape, spend a little heat and have a high level of resolution


3. Monitor plasma

 

Flat-screen plasma monitors is that the light looks emisif generated by phosphor excited by a plasma discharge. While the gas that is released does not contain mercury (as opposed to AMLCD; a mixture of noble gases (neon and xenon)

4. Monitor OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode)
 
OLED is a display monitor that uses a semiconductor material as a light-emitting layer made of organic. OLED technology is widely used in such eletroluminensi on display and sensor applications.
